At Slaters Motor Group we take pride in our clean large workshop.

It is home to some of the very latest equipment to ensure that whatever the make, model or age of your vehicle, we have the tools to carry out any type of repair or service you’re looking for. This includes everything from brakes to bulbs and clutches to cambelts. And no job is too big or too small; we have the expertise to carry out a complete engine rebuild and there’s always time to quickly fit your new windscreen wiper too.

We’re very well known in Sunderland and the surrounding areas as being the place to go for your MOT. Our workshop has 10 bays, two of which are dedicated purely to MOT testing. As well as the most commonly required Class 4 MOT, we also offer Class 7 MOTs too for commercial vehicles up to 3.5t.

Our highly skilled workshop team is all qualified to NVQ Level 3 and above. Between them, they have many decades’ experience working on every make, model, and age of vehicle, including classic cars. And at the other end of the scale, if your vehicle is new and high tech but experiencing a problem with anything stemming from its electronic system, the Slaters Motor Group team will quickly and efficiently find the root of the problem using the very latest Autologic and Delphi diagnostic equipment. We will usually fix the fault at around half the cost of the main dealer, with no fuss and, most importantly, without affecting your vehicle’s warranty.
